We collect your email address when you create an account, and we record subscription details and monthly usage counts (scans used, audio generations, AI corrections used) to operate the service and enforce plan limits. We do not collect any information beyond what is necessary to provide ScanMyNotes.
Images you upload are processed for OCR and stored securely. Extracted text and generated files (PDFs, audio) are accessible only via time-limited private links — they are never publicly accessible.
Files and scan history are retained based on your plan:
After the retention window, scans and associated files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers. We do not use your images or extracted text to train any AI model.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
All payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway. We never see or store your card details.
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled securely. No file is ever served without a signed URL that expires within 15–60 minutes of generation.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@scanmynotes.in. We will process deletion requests within 7 business days.
